So, once again, as this is being posted, I will have been at camp for several days. Let's hope that I don't get attacked with poison ivy/ mosquitos. This is my last flea market trip for a very long time. Sad face. Now that I'm in college I never get to see my friends and this "going away for the whole summer" thing isn't helping. The flea market was fantastic though. Highlights:

-Hipster photos with my new camera. Yes, I realize I am trying too hard. And I love it.

-Getting turned around and driving straight through a clearly marked pedestrian path. And driving the silent Prius meant no one moved out of our way. 

-Outfit shots with Mal

-Peach Lemonade

-Hot sauce with hysterical names

-Watches with the Virgin Mary on the faces

I'm going to miss these girls like crazy. :( Here's to summer!

By the Time You See This, I'll Be Long Gone

This terrible, blurry photo is the first photograph of me and my BRAND NEW CANON T3 REBEL. I am in love. Her name is Aubrey.  She is fantastic. I am still learning how to use her million functions with the thousand page manual she came with, but am excited to spend more time with her. :)

And this is where I will NOT be living this summer, but this is a photo of half of my room, using the wide-angle attachment for my lens. This summer, I'm going to be a camp counselor across the country. The suitcase on the floor is the first step of packing. Getting the suitcase out. I'm really far along, aren't I. :)

Reunions

On our drive up and down the coast, we met up with a bunch of family! The first picture is from my grandfather's 75th birthday party. These are from my cousin's farm where we stopped to stay on the way down. It's gorgeous out there. I could not live somewhere without trees!! (Also: Isn't this an attractive photo of... no one? haha)

Savannah stole my camera and took hipster shoe photos. :)

My cousins are the cutest. Also, the dog to the right? I wanted to steal her and take her home. Sweetest thing ever. Best kid dog EVER.

Every time someone ran their fingers around the edge of the wine glass to make the high-pitched sound that comes with it, Logan would sing along. It was awesome. What a winner. :)

Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday. I've spent the last three days babysitting 24/7 and my birthday was no exception. Nothing like being woken up at 7 in the morning to entertain others for hours and hours. And getting "thunder cookies", or punches. Thanks Journey 2 the Mysterious Island. That really needed to be shared with the 4 year-old I'm working with. The same one that can't wipe his own butt. Love-e-ly. And then I got sick and spent 6 hours that I should have been sleeping vomiting in someone else's bathroom. Happy Birthday. 

But all in all, it hasn't been that bad. The kids are sweet, the food's pretty good and I get to drive a tricked out mini-van all over town. Cool kids, move over. I'm going to go outside and swing with the little one. Hope your birthdays have more good things and less bad things than mine. :)
