A Year Without Rain

(Shirt: Nordstrom, Skirt: Land's End, Shoes: Miss Trish for Target, Belt: Ralph Lauren [gifted], Necklace: Self-Made, Bracelets: Assorted [gifted])

Don't these spools totally remind you of Kendi?

I saved this belt from a dangerous death, removing it from use as my friend's suitcase-dragging device. Ralph Lauren! Can you believe it!

The little girl's eyes move back and forth. SO COOL! And the necklace also has my class ring and my miraculous medal. I decided that morning that I needed a necklace, so I tossed some things together. I was pretty pleased with how it looked.

Hello. I LOVE YOU.

oh, and YOU. and look! a shoe!

The sky is GORGEOUS in this.

Happy Weekend!

Every Fire is a Lesson Learnt

(Dress: Land's End Skirt, Scarf: Simply Vera Wang via Kohls [gifted], Shoes: Minnetonka, Rings: Charlotte Russe)

I've been feeling restless lately... and like something isn't quite right. I hate that feeling. On the plus side, I finished my Psychology final today! One down.

Buckle Down

(Tank: Cotton On, Skirt: Cotton On, Shoes: Landsend, Belt: Target, Necklace: American Eagle, Rings: Charlotte Russe)

So, the picture quality still stinks, but what's new really. I would REALLY like a nice digital camera, of the Canon Rebel variety, but they are wayy too expensive, and I don't think it'd be good to have on a college campus. My parents are already getting me the cheapest computer they can buy because of my tendency to forget things.
These clothes are from my spring break trip. I am loving Cotton On! These clothes are great. Today was also SUPER humid because of a morning rainstorm, so the light clothes made my day a little bit better.
Things I Accomplished:
- Made a guy in the car next to me smile because the sister and I were jamming to RENT music at a stop light
-Helped my friend sitting next to me understand a little bit of precalculus. [alternative dimension, I know.]
- Had a few people tell me they liked my shirt. :)
- After explaining a question to my English teacher, he told me that was, and I quote, "Brilliant" and "That's the best way I have ever heard someone answer that question" and THIS is the teacher that got pissed at me a few weeks ago for talking in class. And just might be the hardest English teacher known to man. YUSSSS *dannncin'*

Things I am not looking forward to:
-AP Tests!!! AHH!!
-Finals! AHH
- Scottish dance regionals! [I'm actually SUPER nervous about this.] AHHH!! AHHH!! AHHH!

But, I think I can do it. BRING IT ON WEEK!
**Also, I got my first viewer from Slovenia! (or the first time I've noticed.. blogger is being sketchy) I'm part Slovenian! So exciting.

$hine On

(Shirt: KE$HA, Skirt: Target, Shoes: Cynthia Vincent for Target)

Agent: 45
Mission: Wear a T-shirt without looking lame

700 hours: Agent realizes that short shirts and super long t-shirt would look wildly inappropriate for a school setting, especially with brown wedges. Agent realizes people would be looking at her in shock, and not admiring the lovely pop star on said t-shirt. Agent takes a deep breath
715 hours: Agent remembers other bloggers wearing really cute outfits with girls layering long shirt or sweaters over skirts. Agent also remembers the most recent Delias catalogue. Agent tries on poofy skirt. Agent looks like a 5 year old.
716 hours: Agent tries on slimmer skirt, and uses belt to tie in brown shoes to black skirt and shirt. Agent is satisfied.
815 hours: Agent has to take off super tall shoe to drive, as feels like she is careening out of control in super tall heels
845 hours: Agent talks to first person who admires her shirt. Then another shortly after. Agent gushes about show.
1125 hours: Agent's friend tell her she'd rather shoot herself in the foot than go to a Ke$ha concert. Agent proudly professes love for said pop star and Agent's ability to listen to whatever she wants too. Friend backs down.
1200 hours: Agent almost kills herself on wet, rainy steps. Agent checks, no one was looking.
1500 hours: Agent gets home and massages calves, as shoes+hard dance workout the day before=stupid idea. But Agent felt tall. And strong.
                                                        Mission Status: Completed.

Prom Photo Bomb

(Dress: Borrowed, but originally from Goodwill!, Shoes: Seychelles, Boy: Davis)

This is my friend Davis. He's really awesome. We laughed a lot.

These are my best friends in the entire world. :)

We also laugh a lot. :)

Me and Kate! She lives five minutes away from me, so we spend a lot of time together. Like on Saturday nights, when there is nothing to do. Once we got both cookie dough AND icing from Food Lion. The kid at the check out line was very impressed by our extravagant social lives.

Do the Creep AHHH

Shoes are possibly my favorite accessory, ever.

Me and Mallory!

The group! :) (Minus Parkker and Mieka.)
Prom was a lot of fun. We had midnight breakfast afterwards at a friends house, and then slept over at a friend's house. Unfortunately, she's not in these pictures, but I wish she was. Missed you Pragna! :)

Glaring Light

(Shirt: Thrifted via Plato's Closet, Skirt: Target, Shoes: Toms, Sunglasses: Last Year's Prom)

This is what I changed into once I got off the plane. I was wearing jeans, but it was a good 20 degrees warmer when we landed. There were palm trees and lizard everywhere! (and wasps. I am terrified of bugs that sting. so that was fun.) I spent the whole week watching TV and swimming in the ocean. Just what I needed. :)

Sick of All Your Lines So Cheesy

This is what I wore to the Ke$ha concert last week!

My favorite part of the concert, besides the glitter (which I still can't get out of my hair, by the way) was what she said at the very end of her concert. After she sang We R Who We R, she said that you shouldn't be afraid to be yourself, unapologetically so. With some expletives thrown in. But that's Ke$ha. I want to be confident like her.

Early in the Morning, when I'm Half-Asleep

(Shirt: Target, Dress: TJ Maxx, Belt: Thrifted, Shoes: Qupid via Modcloth)

It is GORGEOUS this morning. And my backyard is beautiful this time of year. :) (Just don't look at the front yard. It looks like a barnyard) This week coming up is spring break, so I'm heading to somewhere warm to get a tan (yeah right. me tanning is freakish. completely unnatural) but I'll try to post some pictures from prom, but I fully intend to wear a bikini all week, and that is the opposite of an outfit post.
