Flaming Hula Hoops

(Shirt: Express, Skirt: Lands End, Shoes: Toms, Necklace:Gifted, Earrings: Gifted)

"Flamin' Hula Hoops! That's a tasty looking sandwich!" I firmly believe it's going to catch on. Just wait. Anyway, this outfit is from a few days ago. I'm been super lazy about taking pictures. What with watching people make a childhood past time into a dangerous, interesting street performance. I also learned to drive stick. Almost. And then the coolant thingy busted and a HUGE puff of steam came out. I thought I had done it, and was freaking out. Did I mention that it was my grandmother's car? Good news, it wasn't my fault. And I was getting the hang of the whole clutch gas thing. Awesome.
The last day and a half (after getting Teen Vogue) I started reading the Man Repeller, and I believe that this outfit is partially man repeller. The hair was RIGHT ON TOP OF MY HEAD, people. If that doesn't scare 'em off, I don't know what will. Plus, the skirt is super long. I actually went to Morman church with a Morman friend today, and I wore a totally modest outfit (which is HARD. Props to the LDS girls who manage to look good and modest at the same time. It's a real skill). I didn't get a picture of that outfit but tomorrow I might through some things on and photograph them before heading to a day long park adventure with the family for the 4th. Or maybe I'll sleep in. But you'll for sure see them in the next few days because I am no longer frantically volunteering. peace out.

The Belated Post

(Shirt: JCREW, Skirt: H&M, Shoes: Target, Earrings: Gifted via Banana Republic)

Also, on a note completely unrelated to outfits in general, this is my impromptu Father's Day post. In the field behind a Chilies. Classy. I know. Anyway, thanks Dad for putting up with my craziness and for taking my photos without (much complaining), and never yelling at me. You're the perfect dad for a slightly eccentric girl. I love you!
I wear this shirt far more than your probably realize. I'm taking a photography course at my local community center, and I realized that I have worn the shirt 3/4 times to the weekly classes. People must think that I don't have any clothes. Or I sold them to buy my (mediocre) camera. Just kidding, it's a decent camera. But my photos can't always compete with the others in my class. Except for maybe that one woman who doesn't know how to use her camera. Ha.

Pomp and Circumstance

So guess what. These pictures are 100000 years old. Approximately. But they were on my mother's iPhone, so that means I can't use it until she uses it. And it's her favorite/ most useful thing. Anyway, I graduated from high school! Which was awesome. The cake was from a celebration for the two seniors at our dance school. Mrs. Graf makes the best cakes in the entire world. The last picture is from a belated birthday dinner at a sushi place. The sushi was the best I'd ever had. PLUS we got to sit IN the ground. There is a well under our feet so we don't have to sit cross-legged. Besides the fact that it was super hot here and the robes are made of polyester, the day wasn't half bad. Yay me!

Have it Your Way

(Shirt: Express via Plato's Closet, Shorts: American Eagle, originally full length jeans via Plato's Closet, Shoes: Toms, Belt: Target, Watch: Stolen from Friend)

Today we volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House. And as much as I dislike what McDonald's stands for (being a complete hypocrite of course, I love their fries and chicken nuggets), the Ronald McDonald House is one of the greatest things they do. They provide housing for the families of people with sick children in the hospital, and they do a great job. Th facilities are beautiful, and the food is great. I already want to go back.
