I Have Talented Friends With Beautiful Cameras

(Shirt: Banana Republic via Outlet, Skirt: Target, Shoes: Modcloth, Sweater: Old Navy, Ring: Charlotte Russe, Bracelet: Sister's)

I wish I was this beautiful in real life. I love cameras.
And yes, these pictures are EXTRA FREAKING LARGE, because of the intense pixel count. Also: Because I can.

Straight Hair, Don't Care

(Shirt: Thrifted, Skirt: DIllard's, Tights: Unknown, Shoes: Converse)

I got my hair cut, and straightened, so I attempted to recreate the look the next day. I think I did pretty good, and I like how easy straightened hair is to control. Only thing is, I'm freakishly afraid of frying my hair. So this may happen every once in a while, but I am not going to be one of those girls with split ends up to there. Did I mention that I am also afraid of split ends?
List of Fears:
- Being buried alive.
- Large Smelly Dogs
-Split Ends.
In that order.

They'll Call Me Freedom

(Shirt: Banana Republic via Plato's Closet, Pants: Banana Republic via Outlet, Shoes: Charlotte Russe, Camisole: Route 99 via Kmart)

White pants in winter? I know you're shocked. Totally breaking the rules. I'm a secretive rebel, yelling insults at other drivers after they've driven away, thinking of intelligent comebacks after the moment has passed, you know it. Let's be real.
Anyway, today was warm, and it was the second day of track practice, and the nice weather and the exercise always puts me in a better mood. Thanks for the photos Kayla!

The weather was BEAUTIFUL today. I have the most beautiful neighborhood. :)

Killin' It. And Not in a Good Way.

(Shirt: Target, Skirt: Target, Belt: Walmart, Tights: Ann Klein, Socks: Target, Boots: REI)

THIS ladies and gentlemen, was perhaps the MOST controversial outfit this year. People didn't understand what I was trying to do. (which was be creative, and wear the most expensive shoes I own more than 3 times in the summer. Plus, it snowed)
- *confused look* Why are you wearing that? I just don't understand.
- um, you really shouldn't wear those shoes. They're killing the outfit.
- I'm sure you've gotten this all day, but why are you wearing those shoes?

The answer is: because I can. And believe it or not, it takes a lot of effort to go out in something that people aren't familiar with. (especially around teenagers.) And if I was lazy, I'd wear sweats, uggs and a sweatshirt everyday. Like half of my school.
oh, and thanks for the pictures Kate!

Orange You Glad

(Shirt: Michael Starr, thrifted, Skirt: H&M, Belt: Target, Tights: H&M, Shoes: Toms)

Accomplishments:
1. Today I understood all the math I learned. And had a good time in the math classroom, something that has never happened in the course of human events.
2. I said some intelligent things about alliances before WW1. Fist Pump.
3. I introduced my interpretation of "Rhapsody on a Windy Night" (T.S. Eliot) and my English teacher actually thought it was GOOD.
All in all, not a bad day. But now I really want another pair of Toms, the ones owned by the lovely Emily.

Brighter Than the Sun

(Shirt: Forever 21, Skirt: Modcloth, Tights: Target, Shoes: Modcloth, Bracelets: Assorted)

Yes, that is my iPod. yes, I stuck it on my skirt and forgot about it.

Today, wearing a relatively short skirt that draws a LOT of attention, my psych teacher decided to play the fly swatter game. You know the one. The one where you have to stand in front of the whole class and smack at the projector with a fly swatter. I was good at it, but was tugging my skirt down the whole day. yikes.
Also, today one of my teachers fell out of her chair because she slipped. And it was sad, because things like that happen to people that I like. And not the ones I don't like. (I'm talking to you English teacher who gave me a grammar test. Why don't you fall out of chairs?)

Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day

(Shirt: Thrifted, Skirt: Made It!, Belt: Kohl's, Tights: H&M, Shoes: Charlotte Russe, Necklace: Aeropostale)

Today was kind of like a ninja attack. Like an Oh-I'm-just-going-get-breakfast-WHY-IS-THAT-SMALL-MAN-DRESSED-IN-BLACK-JUMPING-AT-ME-AND-YELLING kind of day. You know the one. Anyway, it started out great. Until first period. Where I realized that I had forgotten to turn something in for a class that I have NEVER forgotten to turn something in for. Because I like it that much. Compounded with a math test that was NOT what I wanted made me feel like there was an elephant sitting on my chest. And I had such hopes for you, Day! I'll give you another try tomorrow. And if you don't work out, I'm afraid I'll have to start seeing your best friend, Night. Yeah, I went there.
